Today, we’re excited to roll out Permissions Management, a much-requested feature designed to give store owners full control over who sees what in the dashboard.
Why we built this?
As our customer base grew, so did the teams behind each store. Many of you told us the same thing: “I want my team to help with fulfillment or finances, but I don’t want them poking around in everything." That made perfect sense.
Until now, every user invited to the dashboard had the same level of access. That worked for small teams—but as operations got more complex, it became clear: access control wasn’t just a nice-to-have, it was a must-have.
So we built it.
What you can do with Permissions Management
Whether you're a solo founder bringing on your first VA, or a seasoned team with separate ops and finance departments, Permissions Management is for you.
Assign roles & restrict access — Grant users access to only the parts of the dashboard they need: Orders, Invoices, Stock, or Support.
Keep sensitive data private — Financials, supplier data, and personal info stay safe and visible only to the right people.
Collaborate confidently — Give your team the tools they need to thrive, without worrying about accidental changes or data exposure.
How it works
Inside the Team Management section of your store settings, you’ll now find a new "Manage Permissions" button. From here, you can:
Edit or revoke permissions at any time
See an overview of who has access to what
Need someone to manage orders but not finances? Easy. Want your accountant to access only the Invoices tab? Done in two clicks.
This is just the beginning
This feature lays the foundation for even more advanced access control features in the future—think custom roles, audit logs, and time-based permissions.
